    Roadtrek Inc. (Roadtrek) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Westfalia Wave SL, 2022-2026 Zion Slumber, Play Slumber, 2026 Play Tuff SL, 2025-2026 Play+Slumber, and 2024 Pivot Slumber recreational vehicles. The pop-top latch may disengage during transit, causing the pop-top to lift.
    Consequence, in the NHTSA record
    A pop-top that lifts during transit can distract the driver, or detach if the secondary safety straps fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    Dealers will replace the primary latch and secondary safety straps, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 20, 2026. Owners may contact Roadtrek customer service at 1-888-762-3873. Roadtrek's number for this recall is 2026-01.

    Referencing an incorrect label may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Seat Belts / Critical Fasteners

    Defect, in the NHTSA record
    Roadtrek Inc. (Roadtrek) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Westfalia Wave motorhomes. The seat belt guide bracket may be missing from the second-row seats. The seat belts' movement may be restricted without the bracket. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."

    A seat belt that does not retract properly may be loose and will not adequately restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

    Defect, in the NHTSA record
    Roadtrek Inc. (Roadtrek) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Zion, Chase, Zion Slumber, Play, Play Slumber, Zion SRT and Play SRT recreational vehicles, equipped with certain SDS2 2-burner drop-in cooktops. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture and cause a gas leak.
    Consequence, in the NHTSA record
    A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    Dealers will install a regulator support bracket in unsold vehicles. The remedy for sold units include inspecting the burner tubes, and repair, as necessary, free of charge. Previously sold units will be inspected and replace the cooktop as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 8, 2023.     Roadtrek Inc. (Roadtrek) is recalling certain 2022 Zion, Zion SRT, Chase and Zion Slumber motorhomes. The front seat mounting bolts may be improperly tightened. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) No. 207, "Seating Systems."
    Consequence, in the NHTSA record
    A seat with a loose mounting bolt may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    Dealers will inspect the bolts, and tighten if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 7, 2022. Owners may contact Roadtrek customer service at 1-888-762-3873. Roadtrek's number for this recall is 2022-05.
