    Defect, as filed: Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2026 Ioniq 9 vehicles equipped with a Limited, Calligraphy, or Calligraphy Design trim package. The second-row power seats may fail to detect a person. As a result, the seats may continue to move after contacting a person during powered seat functions, such as automatic power fold-and-stow.

    Consequence: A person, especially a child, may become trapped by a rear powered seat, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Owners are advised to exercise caution when operating the second-row power seat functions until the repair is performed. Children are advised not to be in the rear seats or near the rear seating area during power-folding operation. The seat software will be inspected and updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 9, 2026. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 307.     Defect, as filed: PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2027 Peterbilt 567, 579, 589 and 2027 Kenworth T680, T880, and W990 vehicles. The seat ventilation harness may be missing heat-shrink, resulting in a short circuit.

    Consequence: A short circuit increases the risk of a fire.

    Defect, as filed: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025-2027 Explorer and Lincoln Aviator vehicles. An unoccupied driver's seat may recline unintentionally during certain scenarios, such as remote unlock or remote start.

    Consequence: Unexpected movement of the driver’s seat back may trap a second-row occupant, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will disable the driver seat module (DSM) feature until parts are available. Once available, the motor will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge.     Defect, as filed: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2027 Aviator and 2020-2026 Explorer vehicles. The switch for the easy-entry second-row outer seats may bind or stick, resulting in the seats unlatching, tipping, or sliding unexpectedly.

    Consequence: A seat that moves unexpectedly may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the bezel around the switch as necessary, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Interim letters explaining the safety risk were mailed August 19, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in January 2027. Lincoln Aviator owner notification letters were mailed August 21, 2026.     Defect, as filed: Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Telluride vehicles. The front power seat motor may overheat due to a stuck power seat slide knob or an improper recall 24V407 repair, which can result in a fire while parked or driving.

    Consequence: A fire increases the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will install an electronic fuse assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 13, 2026. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC374. The front passenger seat may have insufficient clearance between the seat frame and the stopper that can cause the Occupant Classification System (OCS) sensor to incorrectly detect the occupant. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

    Consequence: Incorrect detection of an occupant may result in improper air bag deployment during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the front passenger seat frame assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed April 27, 2026. The bolts may loosen and damage the left or right rear seat belt webbing or allow the backrest to move under pressure from items in the luggage compartment.
