    Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2016, 2019, and 2021 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. Water may enter an improperly sealed strobe light and cause a short circuit.
    Consequence, in the NHTSA record
    An electrical short increases the risk of a fire.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    Owners are advised to remove the control module for the strobe light. The remedy is currently under development.     Shyft Group is recalling certain 2021 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. The Tire and Loading Information placard incorrectly states a seating capacity of one, although the actual seating capacity is two. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

    Incorrect seating capacity information may cause the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.
