Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2024-2025 LFS transit buses. The emergency brake valve may have been improperly tightened. A loose connection may cause an air leak and the unintentional activation of the parking brake.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2025 LFS transit buses. The telemetry control unit installed in parallel with the vehicle monitoring system may cause a data overload.

- Defect, in the NHTSA record
Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2025 LFS and 2024 LFS Artic transit buses. Inadequate adhesion around the window frame may cause the glass to detach. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."
- Consequence, in the NHTSA record
The glass can fall out of the frame, increasing the risk of ejection and injury during a crash. Detached window glass can also become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Nova Bus will inspect and replace the glass as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed May 29, 2026. Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2024-2025 LFS transit buses. The driver's seat belt may be pinched by the partition, preventing seat belt from retract properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."
