ASA Electronics, LLC. (ASA) is recalling certain Voyager monitors used to display the back-up camera image. The affected monitors may revert back to the factory default settings which may cause the camera image to be reversed.
- Consequence, in the NHTSA record
The driver may inadvertently turn the wrong direction to avoid an object behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy, in the NHTSA record
ASA will notify owners and dealers will add a harness relay capacitor module, free of charge. ASA issued an interim notification to owners on March 6, 2019. The recall began March 25, 2019. Owners may contact ASA customer service at 1-800-384-4400.

ASA Electronics, LLC. (ASA) is recalling certain Voyager rear cameras, model number VCMS140I, manufactured November 25, 2014, to April 14, 2015. The affected rear cameras may reverse the display image, possibly displaying images on the right that should appear on the left and vice versa.
- Consequence, in the NHTSA record
If the camera displays the image in reverse, the driver may inadvertently turn the wrong direction to avoid hitting an object behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy, in the NHTSA record
ASA will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear camera, free of charge. The recall began on August 4, 2015. Owners may contact ASA customer service at 1-877-384-4400.
