Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Land Rover Defender vehicles equipped with Raised Air Intake (RAI) aftermarket accessory equipment, with part number VPLEP0543. The raised air intake may not be secured properly, which can allow the intake to detach from the vehicle.
- Consequence, in the NHTSA record
A detached raised air intake can fall off the vehicle and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy, in the NHTSA record
Dealers will inspect, and if necessary, remove and reinstall the RAI accessory, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 20, 2025. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N964.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain AJ20-P6 replacement engines. The oil filter housing may crack and leak.
- Consequence, in the NHTSA record
An oil leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire. Additionally, oil leaking onto the road can cause a hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy, in the NHTSA record
Dealers will replace the oil filter housing assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 6, 2024. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N939.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020 Range Rover Evoque headliners, part number LR117807. The headliners may have been improperly manufactured without a metal plate, possibly reducing the headliner's head impact protection. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 201, "Occupant Protection in Interior Impact."

An improperly manufactured headliner may increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
- Remedy, in the NHTSA record
Land Rover will notify vehicle owners, and dealers will replace the headliner, free of charge. Dealers will also notify any retailers that purchased the headliner and exchange them, free of charge. - Defect, in the NHTSA record
Jaguar land rover north america, INC. (land rover) is recalling certain rear driveshaft couplings, land rover branded part number tvf100010, manufactured from april 2011 through november 2011, sold for use as service parts for certain model year 1995-1999 discovery, 1999-2004 discovery II, and 1995 range rover classic vehicles. Some of the rear driveshaft couplings may not have been manufactured to the required engineering design specifications and may exhibit the onset of joint separation, precluded by drive line vibration.
- Consequence, in the NHTSA record
If this increased vibration warning sign is ignored, catastrophic failure of the drive coupling can occur. The driveshaft may detach from the vehicle while in motion resulting in loss of drive and loss of transmission park functionality, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash and/or injury.
- Remedy, in the NHTSA record

Certain aftermarket thule hitch style bicycle racks with fold down style bike arms. A pinch bolt exists between the bike arm bracket and the upright assembly of the hitch style bicycle rack.
- Consequence, in the NHTSA record
When moving the bike arm bracket to its down position, this pinch point has to potential of causing a severe laceration or amputation to the user's fingertips or hand.
- Remedy, in the NHTSA record

- Defect, in the NHTSA record
Certain replacement fuel filters, fram brand name p/n g3727, with date codes x52911 through x60801 sequentially or x600141 and a mexico country or origin marking on the fuel filter housing manufactured from october 18, 2005, through march 21, 2006, sold for use on the vehicles listed above and on certain school buses. (to see the school bus engine sizes, click on "document search" and then "bus applications"). The connector on the fuel filter was not manufactured to honeywell's specification. As a result, the o-ring may not seat correctly on the fuel line.

This condition may cause an inadequate seal at the connection, potentially leading to a fuel leak. In the presence of an ignition source, a fire could occur.
