    The fusible link, which protects electrical components connected through the ignition switch, could come open while rear window defogger is in operation. If twilight sentinel switch is on and headlight switch is off, an open link will result in loss of headlights.

    Dealer will replace defective fusible link with an improved type.

    During windshield wiper operation, the noise suppresion capacitor in the wiper motor relay may overheat.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    The dealer will modify the windshield wiper motor delay relay by removing the noise suppresion capacitor. This will be done free of charge.
