Inc. Announce Recall to Repair Child Carriers WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Evenflo Co. Inc., of Piqua, Ohio, is recalling about 22,000 Hike 'N Roll child carriers for repair. Small children can slip sideways into the leg openings, creating a potential strangulation risk. Evenflo has received 16 reports of children slipping into the leg openings, with some reports of red marks on the child's neck. No serious injuries have been reported. Evenflo is offering a free seat insert to reduce the size of the leg openings and provide a more secure fit. The Hike 'N Roll carriers being recalled are model numbers 522101 and 522102.
