Announce Recall of Juice Extractors WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Moulinex S.A. of Paris, France, is recalling about 120,000 juice extractors. The juice extractor's filter and lid can break apart and project metal and plastic into the air, causing injuries to consumers. Moulinex has received three reports of the juice extractor's filter and lid breaking apart, resulting in cuts to one consumer's fingers. The juice extractors involved in this recall are model 864 with date codes before July 1, 1995. The model number and date code are located on the bottom of the unit. The date code is a 5- or 6-digit number. The 5-digit date code's last three numbers are lower than 075 and the 6-digit date code's last three numbers are lower than 795.
