    Defect, in the NHTSA record
    Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2024 e-TRIEVER, 2020-2023 T-Series Tandem Terminal Truck, and 2024-2026 HUSK-e Tandem Terminal vehicles. Improper welding may cause frame rails to crack, leading to rail separation.
    Consequence, in the NHTSA record
    A detached rail can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of injury.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the frame rails as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 22, 2026. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. Orange EV's number for this recall is 2026-SRC-02.

    Seats

    Defect, in the NHTSA record
    Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2022-2023 T-Series Pure Electric Terminal Trucks, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2023-2026 HUSK-e terminal trucks. The optional foldaway training seat may fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

    A seat that fails may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing risk of injury.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    Owners are advised to limit the use of the the training seat until repairs have been completed. The remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by April 24, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy becomes available.     Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2018-2023 T-Series Pure Electric and 2024-2026 e-TRIEVER terminal trucks. The driver's side door handles may be missing a lock. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."

    A door that cannot be locked may open unexpectedly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    Exterior Lighting / Hazard Flashing Warning Lights

    Defect, in the NHTSA record
    Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
    Consequence, in the NHTSA record
    Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    OEV field service will install a new hazard light wire harness and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 24, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-07.

    Defect, in the NHTSA record
    Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2024-2025 HUSK-e Tandem terminal trucks. The driveshaft may contact and damage the passenger side brake chamber or brake chamber bracket.
    Consequence, in the NHTSA record
    Damaged brake components may cause a reduction of brake performance and unexpected activation of the emergency braking system, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Remedy, in the NHTSA record
    OEV field service will inspect and replace the driveshaft and brake chamber components as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 1, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-06.
