Defect, as filed: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2027 F-150 vehicles. The fuel tank may be improperly secured and leak fuel, or detach from the vehicle while driving.
Consequence: A detached tank can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, a fuel leak can cause an engine stall or increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel tank straps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 21, 2026. Defect, as filed: Crestline Coach Ltd. (Crestline) is recalling certain 2026 Ford CCL166 TYPE III emergency vehicles. A bolt may puncture the fuel line, causing a fuel leak.
Consequence: A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the remedy is completed. Dealers will inspect and replace the current bolt with a shorter bolt as necessary, free of charge. In the event of a rear-end crash, the fuel pressure sensor may dislodge or separate from the fuel tank. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 301, "Fuel System Integrity."
Consequence: A fuel tank with a dislodged or separated fuel pressure sensor can leak fuel after a rollover crash, increasing the risk of a fire.

When the fuel tank is near full capacity, an increase in ambient temperature may cause the fuel to expand and spill out of the filler neck due to an insufficient seal on the fuel cap.
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, and to limit the fuel level to 50% until the remedy is completed. Dealers will replace the fuel filler cap gasket, free of charge. Consequence: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
